allaboutllcs.com is an informational website about LLC formation, costs, timing, service comparisons, and related business topics. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can contact us about privacy requests.

Information We Collect

We collect limited first-party analytics information to understand how the site is used. This may include page paths visited, referrers, country from Cloudflare request metadata, browser user agent, commercial link click labels and destinations, and an anonymous visitor ID stored in your browser's localStorage.

If you sign up for the newsletter, we collect the email address you submit, the page where the signup happened, referrer information when available, signup status, and consent version.

If you send a contact form message, we collect the name, email address, subject, message, source page, referrer when available, country from Cloudflare request metadata, and browser user agent. Do not send passwords, tax IDs, payment details, or other sensitive credentials through the contact form.

How We Use Information

We use analytics information to measure page traffic, improve content, understand which guides are useful, and track clicks on commercial or provider links. We use newsletter information to send LLC filing updates, site updates, and related educational content when newsletter sending is enabled. We use contact form messages to respond to questions, source notes, correction requests, and partnership inquiries.

Cookies And Local Storage

The site may use localStorage to keep an anonymous visitor ID for first-party analytics. Admin sessions use secure, HttpOnly cookies when the site is served over HTTPS. We do not use popups, invasive ad trackers, or third-party analytics scripts in the current foundation.

Form Security

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated spam. Turnstile generates a token in the browser and the server verifies that token with Cloudflare before accepting a message. The Turnstile secret key is stored as a server-side Cloudflare secret and is not exposed in the public website code.

Affiliate And Commercial Links

Some pages may contain affiliate or commercial links. If affiliate links are enabled and you buy through those links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We may track that a commercial link was clicked, but we do not receive your checkout details from providers through this site.

How Information Is Stored

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Analytics events, newsletter signups, and contact form messages may be stored in Cloudflare D1. Admin access to stored analytics, newsletter information, and contact messages is password-protected and should also be protected with Cloudflare Access before launch.

Retention

Analytics events should be reviewed and deleted when they are no longer useful. The current operational target is to keep analytics events for no longer than 13 months. Newsletter emails are kept while the subscription is active or until removal is requested. Contact messages should be deleted when they are no longer needed for support, correction, or partnership follow-up. Unsubscribe support should be added before sending production newsletter campaigns.

Your Choices

You can clear your browser localStorage to remove the anonymous visitor ID stored on your device. You can request newsletter removal or ask privacy questions through the contact page.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site adds affiliate programs, email sending, or additional privacy controls. Material changes should be reflected by updating the date above.
